Recover & Reset: Discovering New Habits Through Breath, Cold & Rest

  • The Sanctuary 735 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, Pennsylvania, 19031 United States (map)

A Yoga Nidra, Breathwork & Cold Exposure Workshop
for Individuals in Recovery & Their Families

Join Consequence of Habit and The Phoenix at The Sanctuary on Saturday, November 21st and discover new habits through breath, cold, and rest.

Unlocking lasting habit change and resilience requires working directly with your body’s master controller: your nervous system. This immersive workshop takes you through a complete physiological loop, balancing active stress exposure with deep, integration-level recovery. This workshop is for individuals in recovery and family members of people in recovery.

Let’s breathe, get cold, and reset together.

Thanks to the generous support of The Sanctuary and The Phoenix, this event is free to attend.

To ensure commitment and respect for limited spots, a $30 donation will be required if you register and do not attend without notifying us in advance.

Event Details:

Saturday, November 21st, 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM

The Sanctuary

735 Bethlehem Pike

Flourtown, PA 19031

Attendees should bring a bathing suit and a towel.

What to Expect:

Yoga Nidra (NSDR): Shift seamlessly from high activation into profound stillness. Through guided body awareness, drop into deep Alpha, Theta, and Delta brainwave states linked to repair, helping you rewire and reset chronic tension.

Breathwork: Take the steering wheel of your autonomic nervous system. Experience how controlled hyperventilation and breath retention alter blood chemistry and condition your response to stress.

Ice Bath Exposure: Harness the power of cold water immersion as a catalyst for adaptation. Learn to stay calm in intense environments while triggering brown fat activation and a sustained release of feel-good neurochemistry.

Whether your goal is breaking old stress habits, accelerating recovery, or building unshakeable daily focus, you’ll leave with the knowledge and practical protocols to safely practice all three modalities on your own.

Before you come: Breathwork and cold exposure aren’t right for everyone. If you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy, Raynaud’s, or a history of fainting, please talk with your doctor first. Never practice breathwork in or near water. This is an educational wellness workshop, not medical treatment.

Reserve your spot today and join us at The Sanctuary on November 21st.
